We
supply hampers throughout the year, but orders for delivery
before Christmas and the New Year should be placed by the
first Friday in December. After this date, please contact
us so that we can confirm availability. Whilst faxed or e-mailed
orders are appreciated for early advice, where individual
addresses and/or cards, messages etc. are to be included,
complete details, including full postcodes, should be posted.
Any later amendments cannot be guaranteed to be effected.
Please
ensure that your intended recipients will accept delivery
up to and including Christmas Eve. We will not accept responsibility
for delays and any subsequent costs arising from the inaccuracy
of delivery addresses. When a specific delivery date is requested
and the goods are despatched on the respective scheduled service,
we accept no responsibility for any delays due to the carriers
or customers’ booking-in procedures. In any event neither party shall be liable for damages or have the right to terminate an agreement for any delay or default caused by conditions beyond its control, i.e. "Force Majeure". This applies to any failure or delay in performance caused by effects beyond that party's reasonable control and occuring without its fault or negligence, including, without limitation, failure of suppliers, subcontractors, and carriers, to substantially meet their performance obligations provided that, as a condition of nonliability, the party experiencing the difficulty shall give the other prompt notice with details following the occurence of the cause relied upon. Dates by which performance obligations are scheduled to be met will be extended for a period of time equal to the time lost due to any delay so caused.
Every
possible effort will be made to ensure that the goods supplied
are those described. However, in the event of any not
being available, we reserve the right to substitute with similar
items of equivalent or better value. Payment must be made
with the order unless the customer has an approved account.
All goods remain our property until full payment is received.
Samples will be invoiced if not returned to us within 28 days,
however, any fresh foods will always be invoiced.
Prices
shown will be maintained for as long as possible. Should any
products or packaging costs increase, we reserve the right
to refer to the customer and either increase the price or
offer alternatives at the original cost. VAT will be charged
at the current rate at the date of invoice. All consignments
are fully insured. Claims for breakages or other damage must
be made in writing, within three days of receipt, quoting
the information on the delivery label.
If
the recipient signed that the consignment was received in
good condition, then for any claim to be considered, we must
be notified of the loss or damage by 12 noon on the next working
day after delivery. The damaged goods will be replaced and
postage refunded provided that they are returned to us. Claims
for non-delivery must be made within 14 days from the despatch.
We reserve the right to use copies of any personalised items i.e luggage labels, wooden lids, corkscrews etc, in subsequent advertising and marketing material.
With brochures only printed annually, corrections, omissions and essential changes to either the contents or prices will be detailed on our website www.whiteandwilson.com The range, products, inventories and prices updated and published therein will, unless otherwise agreed, be the ones delivered and invoiced.
All
business is undertaken subject to the terms stated here and
in any relevant correspondence. |
